New Location for Vegan Pizza in Farmingdale, NY

New York’s 3 Brothers Pizza Cafe was recognized by animal-welfare organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals in 2011 for its tasty cruelty-free pizza, and now Farmingdale residents can enjoy meatless pies and brunch by vegan chef Jay Astafa at the new location on Merritts Road. The original 3 Brothers was on Long Island before father-and-son duo Andy and Jay sold it. The new menu includes fan favorites Seitan Bacon Ranch Pie, orecchiette with broccoli rabe and Italian seitan sausage, and calamari made with oyster mushrooms. While the eatery isn’t entirely plant-based, Jay announced plans to open a vegan pop-up restaurant, Jay Kitchen, in late April via Facebook.
